Social Bookmarking is a way of storing favourite websites for easy access and sharing with friends at any time. Normally these are stored on a specific PC or laptop meaning that if we are using another computer, perhaps at work or at a friend's house, we can't access them.
Social Networking sites (sometimes called bookmarking or sharing websites) like Facebook and Digg (let you "tag" favourite websites or pages within websites so you can access them from any computer you are using. You can also share them with friends and other people with similar interests, thus spreading the word about a great site or product you have found!
Social Networking sites are free to use, so you can decide which site suits you best and register with them or if you're not already registered.
